This Victorian terraced townhouse in Fulham was reimagined in collaboration with our Canadian client with a focus on space planning and modernising rundown features. The property was tired and in need of a makeover. Working alongside our contractors the brief was to create classic contemporary lower ground floor with open plan kitchen, dining room, TV room and small WC, featuring a dark green colour wash for the walls and woodwork in the TV room, perfect for hosting and entertaining. This along with opening up the narrow Entrance Hall leading to the reception, with a full height glazed Crittall style room divider screen allowed the natural light to flood into the property. For the study parallel to the reception, we selected a statement walnut desk with marble top and a feature pendant with smoked glass ball detailing. Bespoke fully fitted wardrobes with exposed shelving and LED lighting were fitted in the Master Bedroom. This enabled the addition of concealed AC for the client. The Master Bedroom features masculine earthy tones, complemented by oak side tables and natural linen bedding and lampshades, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The floors throughout the property were refinished in a smoky walnut tone to maintain character alongside new black cast iron vintage style radiators.
