This modern riverside apartment, with panoramic views of Teddington Lock, was designed as a London base for an international family to gather throughout the year. The brief was to create a light-filled and tranquil retreat, inspired by its waterside setting, with a palette of warm greys, taupe, and soft blues. The open-plan living space features layered textural fabrics, a Poliform Mondrian coffee table in Carrara marble and lacquer, and a custom Stark rug hand-knotted to the perfect shade. Bespoke joinery plays a key role, including a wall-to-wall TV unit by Ecoism with open shelving for objets and concealed storage. Throughout, the clients’ eclectic artwork collection anchors the design, ensuring each room balances sophistication with warmth and a sense of home.
