Layers of texture and colour such as a Pomegranate rug from The Rug Company, herringbone and velvet-upholstered seating, and Fermoie and Colefax & Fowler fabrics, bring richness to the space. The formal dining room, designed for evening entertaining, features Zoffany wallpaper, dado panelling in aubergine, and an antique mirrored fireplace. Candlelit wall sconces and opulent rose taffeta curtains frame the room, while a crystal pendant above a mahogany table and Robert Langford button-back chairs complete the classical, atmospheric setting.
