Georgian Manor House, West Sussex

The main drawing room, once fallen into disrepair, was carefully restored to reinstate its original architectural features, including a fully refurbished fireplace with a real fire grate and a camel faux suede fender by Acres Farm. A window seat with Bernard Thorp fabric and a Beaumont & Fletcher sofa beneath a family portrait add elegance, while the adjoining library snug offers warmth with antique oak panelling, a large open fire, and a cosy bar area enhanced by concealed lighting. Layers of texture and colour such as a Pomegranate rug from The Rug Company, herringbone and velvet-upholstered seating, and Fermoie and Colefax & Fowler fabrics, bring richness to the space. The formal dining room, designed for evening entertaining, features Zoffany wallpaper, dado panelling in aubergine, and an antique mirrored fireplace. Candlelit wall sconces and opulent rose taffeta curtains frame the room, while a crystal pendant above a mahogany table and Robert Langford button-back chairs complete the classical, atmospheric setting.
