This newly built period-style townhouse in the heart of Chelsea spans five storeys, offering five bedrooms, two living rooms, two dining areas, two home offices, terraces, a walk-in wine store, and more. Originally the site of a disused launderette, it was reimagined as a bright and luxurious home for a stylish family who loves to entertain. Inspired by the client’s eclectic art collection, we developed vibrant schemes with coral, orange, and ochre accents set against neutral backdrops to maximise light and showcase their pieces. Dramatic dark marble adds striking contrast throughout, most notably in bespoke bar cabinetry and the lower-ground kitchen, with each slab hand-selected and enhanced by integrated LED lighting. Abundant wine storage, including a walk-in room and cooler, ensures the home is perfectly equipped for hosting gatherings, while layered design details create a residence that is both contemporary and characterful.
