Perched above Cannes harbour within an 18th-century Classical building, this Côte d’Azur apartment was extensively renovated for our clients, a professional German couple seeking a refined pied-à-terre. Working with Monaco-based contractors Chartwell Group, we combined restored architectural detail with a contemporary interior, revitalising original coffered ceilings, walls, and floors while introducing elegant panelling and new cornices to the main rooms. The existing parquet was re-sanded and stained in a soft grey wash, creating a modern backdrop for a palette of neutrals accented with brass and copper tones. Balancing grandeur with comfort, the apartment now reflects the spirit of Cannes while offering a sophisticated retreat with spectacular views over the French Riviera.
